Overview
FSD145 offers Spanish courses for students in grades K-4 at Jones-Farrar, an International Baccalaureate World School. Students at Carl Sandburg School may choose Spanish instruction as an elective in grades 5 and 6. Freeport Middle School offers instruction in Spanish for students continuing studies from earlier grades and offers Spanish as an elective in grade 8.
Freeport High School offers foreign language instruction in Spanish and German. Students at FHS take these courses as an elective.

Spanish curriculum uses the Santillana USA curriculum for grades K-12.
German curriculum uses the Vista Higher Learning curriculum.
