Bridges in Mathematics is a comprehensive PK–5 curriculum that equips teachers to fully implement the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics in a manner that is rigorous, coherent, engaging, and accessible to all learners.

The curriculum focuses on developing students’ deep understandings of mathematical concepts, proficiency with key skills, and ability to solve complex and novel problems. Bridges blends direct instruction, structured investigation, and open exploration. It taps into the intelligence and strengths of all students by presenting material that is as linguistically, visually, and kinesthetically rich as it is mathematically powerful.

6-12 Math uses CPM (College Preparatory Mathematics)

CPM's mission is to empower mathematics students and teachers through exemplary curriculum, professional development, and leadership. We recognize and foster teacher expertise and leadership in mathematics education. We engage all students in learning mathematics through problem solving, reasoning, and communication.  CPM envisions a world where mathematics is viewed as intriguing and useful, and is appreciated by all; where powerful mathematical thinking is an essential, universal, and desirable trait; and where people are empowered by mathematical problem-solving and reasoning to solve the world's problems. CPM’s curriculum engages students in interesting, challenging problems that promote mathematical discourse. Research has shown that when students talk about the mathematics, the understand it better, and remember it longer. CPM embeds work in study teams in every lesson to encourage students to explain, justify, and critique their work. CPM provides teachers with teaching strategies to increase the effectiveness of study teamwork.
