In the Freeport School District, we review and update each curriculum area every 3-5 years. We take into consideration curriculum, instruction, assessment, technology, and professional learning. Our goal is to develop and/or identify curricula that reflects the needs of the 21st-century learner. At times, we will need to adjust the cycle to correspond with new standards, state and federal mandates, and to be consistent with the latest trends and research in education.
