    Chromebook Distribution

We will be distributing Chromebooks for 5th through 8th-grade students who have indicated that they have Internet access at home, but do not have a device.  The distribution will take place on Wednesday, April 8th from 8am until 11am.  This distribution is ONLY for parents who responded to our phone survey or contacted their school principal in advance.  In order to receive a Chromebook, the parent or guardian will need to complete the FSD Chromebook agreement and bring a photo ID to one of the 2 distribution sites (Freeport Middle School or Carl Sandburg School). If you are not able to print the form ahead of time we will have forms available at FMS and CSS during distribution. The parent or guardian must be present to receive a Chromebook If you are unable to get to the Chromebook distribution during this time, please contact your building principal.

FSD145 staff have worked diligently to share resources for students, parents, teachers, and staff in this section of our website.

We will continually update the infomration in the followng sections with current information.  When time-sensitive information is posted (like letters to parents or press releases), we will add a date to the file so that you know that you are getting the most current information.  We are getting a lot of information regarding school closure policies and practices from the federal, state, and local government agencies and we want to pass along that information as it has shaped our work as educators.
