Biographical Information
Daniel Holder has served as Assistant Superintendent of Pupil Personnel Services for FSD 145 since July 2021. Mr. Holder comes from Rockford Public Schools where he served as Director of Special Education. He holds a B.A. degree from the University of Chicago, M.A.T. in Special Education from National Louis University and M.Ed Educational Leadership from the American College of Education.
Work Information
Mr. Holder will provide leadership in the ongoing development, implementation, and coordination of the Freeport School District’s special education services to ensure all areas are aligned with applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
Mr. Holder is a strong advocate for the needs of special education students and will be committed to ensuring that we not only increase academic success for our students by working closely with our specialized services teams and families, but also addressing the disproportionality of discipline and suspension rates that persist among our special education students.
