Biographical Information
   
Jack Code has served as Executive Director of Pupil Personnel Services for FSD#145 since July 2016. He previously served as Special Education Administrator for the Kendall County Special Education Cooperative in Yorkville, IL. Prior to that, he held positions as a Junior High Curriculum Coordinator and a Learning Behavior Specialist for the Oswego School District in Oswego, IL. Jack has also had several years of experience as a special education and social studies teacher in various settings.
 
Jack is a graduate of Illinois State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education K-12 in 1984. He also earned a Master of Science degree in Educational Administration from Governors State University in 2009 and a Director of Special Education Endorsement from the University of St. Francis in 2014.

Jack is married to his wife, Kathleen, and lives in Freeport. He has three children, each of whom are college graduates. Jack enjoys spending time with his family, especially outdoors – boating, bicycling, golfing, or anything that brings him closer to wildlife.

Jack provides leadership in the development, implementation, and coordination of the Freeport School District’s special education services to ensure all areas are aligned with applicable laws and regulations.

Dawn Monge has served as Assistant Director of Pupil Personnel Services for FSD#145 since September 2020. She previously served as an Early Childhood Administrator and Special Education Administrator in Winnebago County. Prior to that, she held positions as a Curriculum and Assessment Specialist with Kids At The Core. Dawn has also had several years of experience as a special education and intervention teacher in various settings.
 
Dawn is a graduate of Rockford College, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education in 2003. She also earned a Master of Education degree in Special Education from National Louis University.  Following that, Dawn earned a Masters of Education Degree in Reading & Literacy from Benedictine University.  Later she earned a Masters of Education degree in Educational Administration from McKendree University in 2009 and a Director of Special Education Endorsement from the University of St. Francis in 2018.

Dawn has one son and lives in Winnebago, IL. Dawn enjoys spending time with her family, especially during warm weather when it involves a lake, pool, or the Carribean Sea.
