Director of Pupil Personnel Services
Jack Code has served as Director of Pupil Personnel Services for FSD#145 since July 2016. He previously served as Special Education Administrator for the Kendall County Special Education Cooperative in Yorkville, IL. Prior to that, he held positions as a Junior High Curriculum Coordinator and a Learning Behavior Specialist for the Oswego School District in Oswego, IL. Jack has also had several years of experience as a special education and social studies teacher in various settings.
Jack is a graduate of Illinois State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education K-12 in 1984. He also earned a Master of Science degree in Educational Administration from Governors State University in 2009 and a Director of Special Education Endorsement from the University of St. Francis in 2014.
Jack is married to his wife, Kathleen, and lives in Freeport. He has three children, each of whom are college graduates. Jack enjoys spending time with his family, especially outdoors – boating, bicycling, golfing, or anything that brings him closer to wildlife.
Jack provides leadership in the development, implementation, and coordination of the Freeport School District’s special education services to ensure all areas are aligned with applicable laws and regulations.
