FSD uses an eflyer distribution system called Peachjar to provide information to students and families about educational and recreational opportunities hosted by approved community partners. The process below must be used to request distribution. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to all applicable parents and posted online on their school website. Paper flyers from outside organizations are no longer distributed in the schools, though copies may be made available in each school office area for families who do not have internet access.
To request approval:
- Visit www.peachjar.com
- Register - Under 'Account Type', choose Enrichment / Community Organization
- Upload your flyer for approval
Your flyer will be automatically submitted to the FSD office. District staff will review the material and approve or deny your flyer based on the standards specified in Policy 860.03: Distribution of Non-School Related Community Group Information to Students.
Note that Peachjar does charge a fee for this service, though it is typically less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers to each school. Peachjar’s service fee will be waived when a local community organization is promoting a free event that does not entice participants to join a fee‐based program, or to purchase products or services. To request a free distribution, a community organization should contact Peachjar at firstname.lastname@example.org with the flyer attached in .PDF format. Once the flyer has been reviewed, a Peachjar representative will contact the community organization to provide posting instructions.
