Mrs. Hayes has thirteen years of combined experience in building level leadership in the Rockford Public School District and the Harlem School District. She has worked in all grade levels preschool through 12th grade.  She previously served as an assistant principal at the Gifted magnet school for three years and really enjoys working with our HAAP program at Center.  She also had the opportunity to oversee the district preschool program in Harlem.  Prior to going into administration, Mrs. Hayes taught Kindergarten and First Grade.  Mrs. Hayes currently lives in Rockford with her husband and two daughters.  In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.
