FSD Seeks Feedback Through 3rd Annual Communication Survey
How well does the Freeport School District communicate with you? That’s what the district is asking this month through its third annual survey on communication effectiveness.
The online survey is aimed at parents or guardians of FSD students and other Freeport community members.
All answers are confidential and anonymous. The survey will be open until 5 PM on November 30, 2018.
The purpose of the survey is twofold: to track and inform the district’s communication progress, and to let people know that their concerns and opinions are being heard and are valued. The effort is part of the district’s continued work to fulfill the goals set out in its Strategic Plan, the third of which focuses on communication, stating: “Family and community relationships will be cultivated, sustained, and strengthened through timely and transparent communication.”
“Parent and community support are central to the success of our school district,” says Dr. Mike Schiffman, FSD Superintendent. “Communication is a key part of maintaining and building that support. By taking this survey, our stakeholders have an opportunity to share feedback and, in doing so, help us continually improve in this area.”
Everyone’s opinion is important. If you do not have online access but would like to complete the survey, visit the FSD Central Office at 501 E. South Street or the FSD Enrollment & Transportation Center at 2037 W. Galena Avenue to complete the survey on a device there.
