Flyer Distribution

 

As a community service, FSD 145 cooperates with community groups and outside organizations that sponsor activities of an educational or enrichment nature for students by providing a system for distributing materials to stakeholders electronically. There are two options to distribute flyers/brochures in FSD:

1. Paper copies
   Each organization will be allowed one paper copy distribution per year, at the time of their annual recruitment. (i.e. sports, scouts, etc.) All outside flyers must comply with FSD’s board policy 8:25 and be approved by the District before distribution. Otherwise, flyers should be submitted digitally as outlined below. The flyer must indicate the following: “This event is not sponsored by FSD 145".
    

You must complete the District Flyer Request Form and email the completed form, with a copy of your flyer to Paulette Williams-Thomas at Paulette.Williams-Thomas@fsd145.org. If approved, you are responsible for delivering the materials to be distributed, sorted into batches of 25, to the Communications Office located at 501 E. South St. We recommend that your information be translated into Spanish, which should be placed on the back of your English version.  

2. Digital copies
   E-flyers are sent via email and posted online through the district's partner, Peachjar*. All outside flyers must comply with FSD’s board policy 8:25 and be approved by the District before distribution. Flyers are distributed on Tuesdays & Fridays. No distributions will take place during district-designated holidays or school breaks. Please allow 48 hours for the district office to approve or deny a flyer for distribution.

*Community organizations pay a fee to use Peachjar to distribute flyers electronically. Visit peachjar.com/oricing.html for more information. Events that are free or have no sign-up fees associated can be approved by Peachjar for free distribution.
