Student Fee Information

With the ESSER Grant Funding having ended in 2024, parents and guardians are responsible for paying their student's registration fees.
Fee waiver applications will be available beginning in late July and will be accepted through September 30 for the 2026–2027 school year. Students who enroll after September 30 may still qualify for a fee waiver. Please contact the Enrollment & Transportation Center for more information.
For your convenience, registration fees may be paid online by credit card or bank account through Illinois eFunds on the district website at www.fsd145.org.
When paying registration fees through eFunds, a processing fee applies:
- Checking Account: $1.50 per transaction
- Credit/Debit Card: $2.85 per $100 charged
These fees are charged by eFunds, not Freeport School District 145.
Fees may also be paid in person:
• Cash, check, or credit card at the Freeport High School Business Office
• Cash or check at the Enrollment & Transportation Center or any FSD school office
Chromebook Insurance is available for the coverage of student Chromebooks for the 26-27 school year. The cost is $25 per student.
As a reminder:
| AG Science & Industry Capstone | ECE at HCC dual credit |
| Computer Science & Info Systems | Cosmetology & Nail Tech |
| CIB (Careers In Business) | Criminal Justice |
| HCC Auto Mechanics | Industrial Manufacturing |
All these are year-long dual credit courses (earning college credit as well as High school credit) so the student will pay fees to HCC for the applicable HCC classes in their program when they register with HCC. (In addition, Culinary I, and HOYA I & II students will have fees to pay HCC when they register for their respective dual credit course in August or December.)
